The literature of the People’s Republic of Bulgaria in the focus of Microhistory
Plamen DoynovThe text presents the possibilities of applying a microhistorical approach to the literature of the communist era in Bulgaria. The article emphasizes that literary microhistory pays attention not only to what and how the author writes, but also to what he does with and around his texts, who reads and understands them, and how they enter into dialogue with other texts and contexts. The article highlights the differences between a scandal and a case, with an emphasis on the opportunities provided by the study through the case in the studies of literature from the period of the Peoples‘ Republic of Bulgaria.

Пламен Дойнов е поет, драматург и литературовед. Професор и доктор на науките в Нов български университет, където преподава история и теория на литературата, академично и творческо писане. Редактор в седмичника „Литературен вестник“. Директор на научната програма „Литературата на НРБ (1946–1990)“, реализирана от департамент „Нова българистика“ на НБУ. Автор на 10 книги с поезия, на 4 поставени пиеси и на 15 тома с литературна история и критика. Сред литературноисторическите му трудове са „Българският соцреализъм: 1956, 1968, 1989“, „Алтернативният канон: Поетите“, „Литература, размразяване, разлом: 1962“, „Литература на случаите. От „Тютюн“ до „Хайка за вълци“, „Краят на литературната автономия: 1946“, „Българската поезия в края на ХХ век“ (в два тома) и др.
