The series “Studia Litteraria Serdicensia” is a periodical of the Institute of Literature at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It presents mainly thematic issues based on scientific conferences at which the Institute is the organizer or co-organizer, as well as individual, different in volume research with a narrower literature or broader humanitarian focus.
The subject of the series are all areas of literary research (theory, history, comparative studies, criticism) in the broad context of humanitarian knowledge, interferences and interactions of literature with neighboring epistemological fields: philosophical, aesthetic, sociocultural, historical and political and others.
The series “Studia Litteraria Serdicensia” publishes one or more volumes a year of at least 300 pages. It is published in numbered volumes online for free access, positioned on its own page on the Institute’s website, as well as in limited book circulation.
