Hüseyin Mevsim

Hüseyin Mevsim is a Professor, PhD, of Bulgarian Language and Literature at Ankara University, Turkey. He was born in the village of Kozlevo, Kardzhali Province (1964). He completed his secondary education in Momchilgrad and obtained his higher degree in Bulgarian Philology from the University of Plovdiv (1989). He settled in the Republic of Turkey in 1991, residing initially in Bursa and Istanbul, and subsequently in Ankara (2001), where he earned his Master's degree (2002) and PhD (2005).

He is the author of numerous monographs, studies, and research works in the fields of literary history and Bulgarian-Turkish cultural and literary relations.
