Nikolay Genov is Senior Assistant Professor at the Institute for Literature at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He holds a PhD in Literary Theory, an MA in Literary Studies, and a BA in Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University. His research interests are focused on science fiction, genre theory, digital media, and video games. He is the author of the book The Virtual Human: An Essay on Phantomatics (2022; in Bulgarian). His texts have been published in various journals, collections, and academic platforms.
